John Leonard Harris, grandson of Leonard McCoy, recounted the steps involved to his co-conspirators.
"Now, his girlfriend is a Vulcan, so naturally I liberated a psi-supressant from Gramps' storage. This way, even if she were a Betazoid, and could scan me, she couldn't tell what I was up to."
Angela Thompson, daughter of the ship's Chief Of Security, threw in.
"Course, if she were Betazoid, she'd have bigger boobs. See That Wiggle, Watch That Jiggle...."
Sophia Tanabe, young second cousin of Commander Uhura, would soon pull a series of stunts that would have her allies hating her. But for now, she just continued the slam session.
"She'll never make Page 3, that's for damned certain. But I think Petey likes her rump roast, more. Pisses me off. I mean, I got a nicer one, right?"
Peter Preston, Scotty's nephew, couldn't resist saying what he did in response.
"Can't tell. I'd have to see it first."
Sophie smiled at that, got up -- and raised her skirt. She was not wearing undergarments.
"You've seen it. Now kiss it!"
Preston tried to back off.
"Sophie, I was only joking."
She covered herself, and noticed that both boys were now rock-hard, from the surprise. Her smile remained.
"I wasn't joking. And I'dve let you do more than kiss it--if you know what I mean."
John Harris cleared his throat, and got back to the subject.
"Anyway, Peter Kirk is now the proud owner of the tiniest listening device ever made. Sorry for no vids, but they're more easily traced. Who's for listening in on The Prince Of The Enterprise?"
Another voice was now heard.
"And what primal mischief is it you youngsters are up to?"
Peter Preston gulped in the presence of his older sister Jessa. Surely the jig was now up. Or was it?
"Sis--Peter Kirk has been giving us a hard time, and we---"
She cut him off.
"Petey-O--are ye telling me that someone is going to put paid to Peter Kirk, the man who thinks he's The Second Coming? Not to mention his stuck-up sister?"
All eyes went wide at that, as much as Jessa's throwing into the scheme. Harris spoke the obvious question.
"I didn't even know he had a sister. So, who is she?"
Jessa took her hands and cupped her ears into a point. All gasped.
Sophie.
"No way. Stepcest--finest kind!"
Angela.
"Now I remember. No one on Vulcan wanted to bother with her, so The Captain had to adopt the little nothing. Its all in Dad's files. Guess it keeps that hearty sausage in the family."
Jessa raised an eyebrow.
"How hearty are we talking?"
John produced a file.
"I ran a comparative check. 2nd--heartiest on the ship. Guess who has the first? Oh. And The Vulcan wears a grav-constraint on her chest, for quick movement. She used to be The Forge, but now she is Mt. Seleya. Actually rivals Sophie's cousin."
Their gossip all used up, they turned on the link to create more. Harris smiled.
"Source--his quarters."
A voice came on. It was Saavik's.
"....have to use my ponytail as a leash? And why do I always have to be on all fours like this?"
Angela sat down, and sighed.
"Frankfurter and Buns!"
Now, Peter's voice came over.
"Because--a certain someone won't stop hitting me, or holding my arms immobile when we're doing it."
John shook his head.
"S+M--is not logical. But it is fun!"
Saavik's voice again.
"Just sit on my ribs. I can handle the weight. Now, come whenever you want, but just give me a moment's notice, so I can get it inside my mouth."
Peter Preston felt like he was going to overheat.
"Being an adult--is fun. Jessa, if you send me away from this, I'll take my lumps with Uncle Monty and blow this whole thing. I mean it."
But Jessa wasn't listening to her younger brother.
"Laird--she's just moaning--and there's a slurping sound. Sure I had to put a phaser to Richard's neck before he'd even consider it. Oh, those two are finished aboard this ship, unless they want to walk around with permanent red and green faces!"
John had to keep from touching himself. Sophie couldn't anymore, and excused herself. Then, John heard what he thought of as payoff.
"Now he's moaning--and its about 1490 hours--1--2--3--"
"Lieutenant Kirk, please report to The Captain's Ready Room."
Jessa rubbed her hands.
"Oh, my! Did Princey forget that his Uncle The King is mightily ticked with him, for reading that bullshit story about Ghidorah to the little ones?"
Angela grinned as well.
"The Vulcan is saying something."
"Wilf fou be all rightf, Pferter?"
Peter Preston fell off his chair, laughing.
"Some people shouldn't talk wif their mouf full."
They heard Peter Kirk dress and depart quietly, and heard him go to face the music. John nodded, in victory.
"His Majesty's voice, kids!"
"....no worse version of those old demon at the end of time stories, Peter. How could you tell those kids about Ghidorah?"
"Uncle Jim--Ghidorah is real. It was the Order Of The Ancient Destroyer that held me all those years."
"I'd always suspected that the Admiralty at least knew who held you. Peter, listen. About you, and me---"
"I know all about Sam's sterility-Dad."
The faces all showed their surprise. Jessa stood.
"From heir presumptive to heir apparent in one shot. What's this about a kidnapping, though?"
Angela checked her pilfered files.
"Its right here. Kidnapped--held in cryo - for ten years!"
John shook his head.
"The Admiralty did it? The corruption reaches that---"
The Captain's voice again.
"How many times, Peter? I have to know."
Angela wondered at this question.
"How many times what?"
Peter Kirk's voice was low, and ashamed.
"I think it was about 300 times. 65 female frontal. 85 female rear. The rest--all male, all from behind, but one. Him, I bit it off and spit it into his face. I was too strong for them to suck, so they just held me down. Plus, I guess they didn't want to take the chance I'd enjoy it. No chance of that, though. I was bleeding from both front and back when I managed to bolt. I was defecating blood. But they kept grabbing me, and sticking their things back in. I had to start killing some."
Jessa got back up, and was shaking.
"He's--he's discussing--they rap--"
She left, and sought a small printed Bible in her quarters.
The conversation continued, with Captain Kirk speaking.
"Those animals raped you. They raped Saavik, on Hellguard. My God. Does the monster inspire that sort of evil, or are we all just monsters ourselves?"
"I don't know--Dad. All I know is that I'm a nervous wreck. Remember how I almost killed you and the others, back at Sarek's? And my beautiful Saavik still feels like she's worth nothing. It never leaves you. Hell, we couldn't even have sex for a long time, we were so nervous."
All the laughter was silenced, now. Angela was beginning to cry, and Peter Preston felt not far behind her. But the young man who was so recently the object of their scorn was not through talking.
"I'm going to kill Ghidorah, sir. Destroy him for all time, so that no other kid ever has to endure what we did. I know that sounds grandiose. But its what kept me going. Through Sam and Aurelan's indentured servitude. Through losing my baby. He may have just been a little brother, but I was---sorry, you know how I felt. Through Grandma's iron-fist garbage. Saavik still doesn't understand why I don't like even playful punching. The Bright Lady told me our suffering was for a purpose. That evil should fall dead at our feet. That what we went through helps other children, for all time."
A silence, then Jim Kirk spoke again.
"But it doesn't always help, does it Peter? Son--you can tell me."
There was a sound of arms and holding. Peter's voice was full of tears.
"They hurt me, Daddy. I was in Hell. Why didn't you come and get me, out of Hell?"
"I would've gladly taken your place."
"I know. I love you, Daddy."
"I love you, Peter. And I love her. To know that you two are protecting each other--helps me sleep nights. Together, you two make up a good portion of my heart. "
"I tried to fight them, but they were so strong. I'm so asham---"
"Hush. Belay that. Peter--heroes like you and your sister have nothing to be ashamed of. Nothing at all."
John Harris turned off the recorder, and deleted its files. With a whipped look, he turned to his co-conspirators.
"When Lieutenant Kirk comes back here, we're still gonna act on this information. Just not like we thought."
After five renegade ships were defeated, and Peter Kirk had formally re-bonded with his wife, he and she entered the rec area, to assume joint duty over the visiting children.
When they entered, John Harris, who had told every child there an age-and-privacy appropriate version of the young couple's life and struggles, motioned, and everyone stood at attention.
Saavik and her husband received a sincere standing ovation from The Children Of The Enterprise. Peter Kirk puzzled at this change.
"Was it something I said?"
