He rubbed his sore arm, and wondered anew how a Vulcan could forget her own strength.
She was always playful, and he was far from being a weakling himself. But Peter felt angry that she dismissed his pleas to stop.
Finally, he came upon a plan. It was a loathsome one, in some respects, but she was ignoring his request for the last time.
When she came back to bed, Saavik raised up her fist again, intending to make him wince in the small of his back.
Peter then said words to send a chill down her spine.
"Brianna--please don't."
