EARTH, 1969

Preparing to leave Gary Seven, Kirk received some disturbing news.

"Cap'n, yuir old pal Finnegan stowed away, blasted drunk! He beamed down, and we've nae hide nor hair!"

"Wonderful. Mister Seven?"

"I've already locked onto him, Captain. But he's in plain view."

Making their way down to the police station, Kirk and Spock saw Finnegan about to be tossed into the 'drunk tank.' With him was the policeman they'd encountered earlier.

"Does---this---belong to you?"

"Jimmy! Go on an' tell im'!"

Kirk decided to silently retrieve Finnegan later that night.

"I've never seen this man before in my life!"
